Hobb’s Grove Event Returns To Sanger As A Campout And Festival

After over a decade’s hiatus, Hobb’s Grove in Sanger (near Fresno) will host a bluegrass campout in May and a festival in September 2025. The new gatherings will be organized by Doug Cornelius, the original founder of the King’s River (later Hobb’s Grove) bluegrass festivals.

The King’s River Bluegrass Campout And Jam will be held May 30-June 1 and the King’s River Bluegrass Festival will be held September 12-14.

There will be a $10 per person charge for weekend attendance and a $15/night per campsite fee for the spring campout.

Bleck Fleck To Perform In San Francisco At The Presidio Theater This Weekend

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes Bela Fleck with Antonio Sánchez & Edmar Castañeda to the Presidio Theater on Saturday, March 29 and two shows on Sunday, March 30.

The historic venue is located in the beautiful Presidio National Park, San Francisco.

This new supergroup features legendary banjo master Béla Fleck, Mexican drummer Antonio Sánchez, and Colombian harpist Edmar Castañeda.
